Mark and Hillarie

I gained a lot of new friends on this photo shoot. Some of Mark and Hillarie's family came along to help and I couldn't have done it without them. Thanks guys!! We had a lot of fun in Salt Lake and up at Snowbird. I am so impressed with both Hillarie and Mark and their families. As a parent I appreciate the advice I get from parents who have raised up successful families. I learn a lot. They also introduced me to the yogurt place , "Spoon Me". My lanta that was some good stuff!! It is like natural yogurt with natural fruit. Not to get too detailed but mine had peaches, blackberries and raspberries. More fun to come from these guys.

BLUSH- profile for the wedding showcase

Mark your calendar brides for October 11. The wedding showcase will take place at the Riter Mansion. I will be profiling some of the vendors that will be featured this fall. Of course I will be there as well. Actually, my wife will since I will be shooting a wedding in St. George. Anyway I spent some time down at BLUSH FLORAL today. I took some pictures of both Katie Baugh and Christine Hunsaker (who is getting married tomorrow). I have shot many photos of brides with BLUSH flowers and they have always been very creative. SnowBird with Russ Dixon

Snowbird wedding tag-teaming with Russ Dixon. Had a blast!! Russ is one of my favorite photographers to shoot with. That is Russ in the picture shooting the couple jumping. You can see his stuff on russdixonphotography.com . A big thanks to Russ's wife Kindee who was a big help to us as well. We needed it because this was a huge wedding with a lot going on all the time. Also a special thanks to Tait Sorensen who brought his photo booth from Provo. I got some good use out of it. I wish I would have had more time I would have stayed in that booth all night. I don't get my picture taken very often so when I get a chance I unleash the beast.

These three images were taken within 15 seconds of one another. I love the reaction on the kids faces as they watched the cake cutting. The kid on the right is a budding paparazzi, he was everywhere with that little camera.
What would a wedding be without the guests?

Paris-my "fine art" collection

My inlaws (brother and sister in law) have asked me to show them some images that they might use for decorations on their wall. Here are a few from my trip to Paris a few years ago. Coincidentally I saw both Jacques Chirac and Vladimir Putin on that trip. They were the leaders of France and Russia at the time.
As a side note: Paris is hard to enjoy after you have been to Italy. I hope I don't offend anyone by saying that.
